Boy Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Accident at Banff Street and Danube Way

San Jose, California (November 18, 2019) – A 2-year-old boy was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Jose on Sunday afternoon.
The pedestrian collision, which happened at around 2:39 p.m. November 17, occurred at the intersection of Banff Street and Danube Way near the junction of Interstate 680 and Highway 101.
As per the report, the child who was with his family loading up their car ran out from between two parked cars near the intersection, where he was struck by a 2018 Dodge pickup truck.
The primary report indicated that the pickup truck was travelling westbound when it went around the corner and hit the boy.

The kid was transported to the hospital by paramedics, where he was later pronounced dead.
Meanwhile, the identity of the deceased has not yet been released to this time.
The Dodge operator stopped after hitting the boy and cooperated with authorities.
