San Jose, California (July 15, 2021) – An elderly man was struck and killed by a vehicle in East San Jose early Wednesday morning, according to a report by the San Jose police.

The deadly crash occurred at McKee Road and Jose Figueres Avenue, near Regional Medical Center, at about 2:26 a.m.

A driver in a 2020 Subaru sedan hit the man while standing in the roadway between crosswalks in the morning hours.

Fatal San Jose Accident

The pedestrian died at an area hospital while undergoing treatment of major injuries sustained in the accident.

The male Subaru operator remained at the crash site and cooperated with the law enforcers.
