1 Person Killed in San Jose Pedestrian Crash on South Jackson Avenue
San Jose, California (October 9, 2020) – A pedestrian was hit and killed by a vehicle on Friday night in East San Jose, authorities said.
The crash happened just before 9:00 p.m. in the 800 block of South Jackson Avenue.
According to the police, the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the roadway in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on Jackson Avenue was shut down in both directions between Bambi and Cinderella lanes for an unknown period due to the mishap.
