San Jose, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Traffic Crash on Northbound Highway 101

San Jose, California (June 7, 2019) – A motorcycle rider sustained significant injuries in a traffic accident in San Jose Thursday morning.

The fatal crash occurred at around 7:36 a.m. June 6, along northbound Highway 100.

The California Highway Patrol report indicated that a white Honda minivan collided with a black Harley Davidson motorcycle on the roadway for reasons still under investigation. Due to the impact, both the van and the motorbike ended up on the right-hand shoulder of the highway.

The rider sustained severe injuries following the wreck. The victim was attended to by the paramedics along with the San Jose Fire Department officials and after that taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The current condition and the identity of the injured party have not been released to this time.

It was not clear whether or not the van driver was injured in the wreck.

The crash remains under an active investigation.
