Rider Hospitalized with Major Injuries after 280 Freeway Motorcycle Crash in San Jose

San Jose, California (June 20, 2019) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after a traffic collision that happened Wednesday afternoon in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
As per the CHP report, the accident occurred at about 2:50 p.m. on southbound 280 Freeway, just north of Saratoga Avenue off-ramp.
A Kawasaki motorcycle collided with a car for unknown reasons.
Firefighters responded to the scene and transported the rider to a hospital for treatment of major injuries.
The lanes Nos. 3, 4, and 5 remained closed as investigators worked the scene.
The motorcycle was towed away from the crash scene.
CHP is investigating the accident.
