San Jose, CA: Major Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 and Highway 85
Major Injuries Reported in San Jose Accident on Highway 101 and Highway 85
San Jose, California (February 12, 2019) – Major injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon in San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, February 12, on Highway 101 and Highway 85.
As per the report, four vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Authorities issued a SigAlert closing the lanes 1-3 following the collision. All lanes were opened as of 5:41 p.m.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the crash site.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
