Pedestrian Dies in San Jose Crash on Quimby and South White Roads
San Jose, California (November 26, 2019) – A man was hit and killed by a vehicle early Monday morning in East San Jose, according to police.
The crash was reported at about 12:56 a.m. November 25, on Quimby and South White roads.
Police said the man was trying to cross Quimby Road when an eastbound 2014 Chevy Camaro struck him.
Man Dies in San Jose Pedestrian Crash
The man was killed in the crash. His name was not released pending identification and notification of the next of kin.
The driver of the Camaro stayed at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigators.
Police said alcohol and drugs were unlikely factors in the crash.
The crash is under investigation.
