Pedestrian Killed in San Jose Crash on Interstate Highway 680 near McKee Road
San Jose, California (September 8, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Saturday night in San Jose, according to the CHP.
The crash was reported at around 11:46 p.m. September 7, on Interstate Highway 680 just south of McKee Road.
CHP said a pedestrian was reported to have been walking against traffic on the right-hand shoulder of northbound I-680 just prior to the collision.
The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The CHP is conducting an investigation into the incident.
