Minor Injuries Sustained in San Jose Crash on Highway 85 and Almaden Expressway

San Jose, California (July 24, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a two-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon in the area of San Jose, according to a California Highway Patrol dispatch.
The crash happened at around 2:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, on southbound Highway 85, just north of Almaden Expressway.
As per the report, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons. One of the vehicles overturned following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of injured parties and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
A SigAlert was issued closing the lanes following the crash. The roadway was cleared as of 5:03 p.m.
No additional details concerning this crash were provided.
