1 Hospitalized after San Jose Crash on Highway 101 and Metcalf Road
San Jose, California (March 18, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after a traffic collision early Monday morning in the area of San Jose, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at around 12:04 a.m. Monday, on southbound Highway 101 and Metcalf Road.
As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. One person was transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The victim’s names and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
One of the vehicles was blocking lane 4 following the collision. The roadway was cleared as of 12:49 a.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
An investigation is underway.
