1 Injured in San Jose Crash on Interstate 280 near 7th Street On-Ramp
San Jose, California (July 27, 2021) – One person was sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision that took place Monday afternoon in San Jose.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 1:42 p.m. on southbound Interstate 280, just north of the 7th Street on-ramp.
A black Chevrolet sedan collided with a gray or white sedan under unclear circumstances.
San Jose firefighters responded to the scene and blocked the No. 5 lane
The firefighters requested an ambulance to transport the driver of the Chevrolet to the hospital. The extent of the injuries of the patient was not mentioned.
No other information was given about the crash.
CHP is investigating to establish the cause of the crash.
