San Jacinto, California (May 31, 2019) – One person sustained major injuries in a paragliding accident on Thursday evening in San Jacinto, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

The incident happened at about 6:50 p.m. May 30, along Soboba Road.

A Cal Fire helicopter responded to the crash and the crew hoisted the paraglider from the crash site.

The rider was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.

The authorities are conducting an investigation to find out why the paraglider crashed.
