At Least 1 Hospitalized after San Jacinto Crash at Gilman Springs Road and Highway 79
San Jacinto, California (January 19, 2021) – At least one person was hospitalized Monday afternoon following a head-on collision at a San Jacinto intersection, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash occurred at around 1:48 p.m. Monday, January 18, at the intersection of Gilman Springs Road and Highway 79.
As per the CHP report, a gray and blue Dodge Ram pickup truck and a white Ford Fusion collided at the San Jacinto intersection for undetermined reasons. A third vehicle was possibly involved in the crash.
One occupant of the Dodge complained of pain after the accident. Authorities said at least one patient was taken to a hospital for treatment.
The Dodge and the other wrecked vehicles were towed away from the crash site.
The accident remains under investigation.
