Man Airlifted after San Gregorio Motorcycle Crash on Highway 1 near Pomponio Beach in San Mateo County
San Gregorio, California (April 9, 2020) – A male rider was airlifted after a motorcycle collision Wednesday afternoon in San Gregorio, San Mateo County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 3:35 p.m. April 8, on southbound Highway 1, just south of Pomponio Beach.
As per the CHP officials, a man was riding a motorcycle on the highway when he crashed into a vehicle for reasons still under investigation. The rider was laying on the right-hand shoulder of the roadway following the collision.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The male rider suffered major injuries and was flown to the hospital for treatment. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately released.
