Person Killed in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident on U.S. Highway 101 near Alemany Street

San Francisco, California (February 3, 2019) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle early Sunday morning in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The deadly accident was reported just after 2:33 a.m. on U.S. Highway 101, just north of Alemany Street.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle for an unknown reason on .S. Highway 101.
The pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending identification and notification of family.
Further details were not immediately available, and the crash remains under investigation.
