84-Year-Old Man Seriously Injured in San Francisco Pedestrian Accident at San Jose Avenue and 24th Street

San Francisco, California (January 20, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Tuesday night at a San Francisco intersection, a local news source reported.
At around 8:32 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, the San Francisco police responded to the area of San Jose Avenue and 24th Street for a report of a person hit by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, they found the elderly pedestrian lying down on the roadway. Authorities determined that the pedestrian, only identified as an 84-year-old man, was walking inside a crosswalk when he was struck by a vehicle.

The man sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His name and current condition were not disclosed.
