Possible Injuries in San Francisco Car Accident on Westbound Interstate 80 near Fremont Street Off-Ramp
San Francisco, California (August 11, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a fiery traffic accident that happened early Tuesday morning in Downtown San Francisco.
Just after 6:20 a.m., the California Highway Patrol officers received a report about the crash in the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 near the Fremont Street off-ramp.
The CHP said several vehicles were involved in the accident. One of the cars caught fire following the crash.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene to help those who might have sustained injuries as a result of the crash. At this time, the number of injured victims and their names were not diclosed.
Three left lanes of Westbound Interstate 80 were closed due to the crash.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
