Minor Injuries Sustained in San Francisco Accident on Highway 101 near Ellis Street

San Francisco, California (April 16, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a multi-vehicle crash Monday night in the area of San Francisco, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened at around 7:30 p.m. Monday, April 15, on southbound Highway 101, just north of Ellis Street.
As per the CHP officials, five vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities blocked all lanes following the crash. The roadway was opened as of 8:42 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
