Man Killed in San Francisco Motorcycle Crash on U.S. Highway 101 near Interstate Highway 80
San Francisco, California (January 9, 2021) – A motorcyclist was killed in a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 101 in San Francisco Saturday morning, according to a report by the California Highway Patrol.
The deadly crash happened at about 7:45 a.m. near the southbound 101 splits to Interstate Highway 80.
As per the CHP report, a 28-year-old San Francisco man was riding his motorcycle on U.S. Highway 101 when, for unknown reasons, he veered into the left side of a concrete railing and crashed into a sign pole.

The motorcyclist was declared deceased at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
No other details about the crash were immediately provided.
