San Francisco, California (July 13, 2019) – Three people were injured in a train collision on Friday afternoon in the Bayview District, according to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.
The incident happened at 3rd and Williams Avenue at about 1:36 p.m. July 12.
Authorities said a car was struck by a Muni light rail train on the tracks.

One adult was taken to a hospital for treatment of unknown injuries. Two children were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The identities of the injured parties were not released.
The authorities are working to find out the cause of the crash.
