Woman Seriously Hurt in San Diego Pedestrian Crash on Camino Del Rio West near Arena Boulevard and Rosecrans Street

San Diego, California (December 7, 2020) – A woman was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash on Sunday morning in Midway District, San Diego, authorities said.
The major injury pedestrian crash occurred at about 3:00 a.m., on December 6, on Camino Del Rio West, north of Sports Arena Boulevard and Rosecrans Street intersection.
According to the police, the woman was walking along the west curb on the roadway when a vehicle struck her in unclear circumstances.

The woman suffered a lacerated spleen and bleeding in her brain in the accident.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. The description of the vehicle was not available.
