3 Injured in City Heights Car Crash at Fairmount Avenue and Laurel Street
San Diego, California (August 6, 2019) – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at an intersection in City Heights early Tuesday morning, according to the San Diego police.
The collision took place at about 1 a.m. in the area of Fairmount Avenue and Laurel Street.
San Diego police said a white car traveling northbound on Fairmount Avenue was trying to make a left turn into westbound Laurel Street and collided with a black sedan going south on Fairmount Avenue.
The force of the crash pushed the sedan off the side of the roadway and it slammed into a parked pickup truck.

Two men riding in the black sedan and the driver of the white car were all taken to a hospital for treatment. There was no update on the condition of the patients.
The driver of the black sedan received a citation for DUI.
The police are investigating the incident.
