San Diego, California (August 19, 2019) – Four people were injured when two boats collided on Sunday afternoon in San Diego, according to a local news source.
The wreck was reported at around 1:28 p.m. on Sunday, August 18, near Coronado Bridge.
Authorities said a sailboat and powerboat were involved in the crash
A Good Samaritan passing by helped rescue passengers who were floating in life jackets. The victims were taken to Pepper Park.

Four people in the powerboat, a Bayliner, were evaluated for minor injuries after their boat was towed to the Pepper Park launch ramp.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
