12 Injured in San Pasqual Valley Crash on State Route 78 near San Diego Zoo Safari Park
San Diego, California (February 24, 2019) – Several people were injured in a multi-car collision near the San Diego Zoo safari park in San Pasqual Valley on Saturday afternoon.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the wreck happened at the intersection of San Pasqual Road and San Pasqual Valley Road (SR 78) at about 4:15 p.m. February 23.
It’s unclear how the vehicles collided.
The police said 12 people were injured and some of them were transported to hospitals by the emergency crews. All injures in the accident were minor.
The cause of the crash remained under investigation.
