At Least 1 Injured after San Diego Motorcycle Accident on 8 Freeway near College Avenue

San Diego, California (April 6, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a motorcycle accident Friday night in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.
The crash happened at around 10:33 p.m. Friday, April 5, on 8 Freeway, west of College Avenue.
Officials said that three vehicles and a motorcycle crashed for reasons still under investigation. The rider was lying in lane 3 following the crash.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the crash. The name of the patient and their current condition were not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
The vehicles were blocking lanes 3, 4 and 5 following the crash. All lanes were opened as of 11:28 p.m.
No additional information concerning this incident was provided.
