32-Year-Old Man Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Sports Arena Boulevard
San Diego, California (October 2, 2020) – A 32-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle in San Diego last week Wednesday, according to police.
The deadly pedestrian crash occurred at about 4:56 a.m. Wednesday, September 23, in the 4000 block of Sports Arena Boulevard.
Police said the man was walking westbound on Sports Arena Boulevard when he was hit by a southbound vehicle.
The pedestrian was thrown onto the roadway upon the impact.

The pedestrian was rushed to UCSD Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at around 5:24 a.m. His name was withheld pending notification of family.
The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation by the San Diego Police.
