61-Year-Old Man Killed in San Diego Pedestrian Accident on Health Center Drive

San Diego, California (November 20, 2020) – A 61-year-old man was hit and killed by a hit-and-run driver on Thursday evening in Birdland, San Diego, police said.
The deadly pedestrian accident transpired at about 5:40 p.m., on November 19, on Health Center Drive near Sharp Memorial Hospital.
According to the authorities, the male pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle near the hospital a few blocks south of Mesa College Drive.
Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on Health Center Drive
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The involved vehicle was last seen driving south on Health Center Drive toward Genesee Avenue. The police are seeking the driver, the officials said.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
