Man Critically Injured in Linda Vista Bicycle Crash at Fulton Street and Linda Vista Road
San Diego, California (January 14, 2019) – A man sustained major injuries in a crash between a vehicle and a bicycle on Sunday evening in Linda Vista, San Diego police said.
The crash took place at the intersection of Fulton Street and Linda Vista Road at about 6:10 p.m. January 13.
Police said a man in his 20s was riding a bike eastbound on Fulton Street when he entered the intersection and was hit by a 2006 Honda sedan, driven northbound on Linda Vista Road by a 38-year-old man.
The rider sustained life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a hospital.
The driver of the Honda reportedly remained at the site of the accident and cooperated with the police. Alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
