Firefighter Injured in Morena Area Fire on Pacific Highway near SeaWorld Drive

San Diego, California (April 12, 2019) – A fire incident injured a firefighter who was trying to put it out early Friday morning at a storage facility in Morena area.
According to the authorities, the incident was reported at about 2:15 a.m. in the 5100 block of Pacific Highway near SeaWorld Drive.
The firefighters responded and worked to put out the fire, which was done within 40 minutes.
Morena Area Fire Incident Leaves Firefighter Hospitalized
One firefighter was taken to a hospital for smoke inhalation and was expected to be ok.
The crews reported that the fire may have been caused by natural combustion on an apartment where staining and woodworking had been recently done.
