San Diego, CA: Fatal Head-On Crash on Valley Center Road and Lake Wohlford in San Diego County
3 Killed, 1 Injured in San Diego County Accident on Valley Center Road
San Diego County, California (February 12, 2019) – Three men were killed in a head-on collision early Tuesday morning in Valley Center, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident took place at about 6:13 a.m. on a curved part of the roadway, between North Lake Wohlford and Paradise Creek Lane, southwest of Harrah’s Resort and Casino.
Police said a white Ford F-150 pickup truck swerved into the path of a tow truck and also crashed into the side of a cliff.
Three men in the pick-up were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the tow truck sustained minor injuries and was taken to Palomar Medical Center.
There were no further details on the accident.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
