1 Hospitalized after San Diego Crash on Interstate 15 near Balboa Avenue
San Diego, California (March 17, 2021) – A driver was hospitalized after being involved in a hit-and-run crash that happened Tuesday evening in San Diego, the California Highway Patrol said.
Three vehicles collided at about 7:42 p.m. on Interstate 15 near Balboa Avenue.
The report said the vehicles were a Ford F-150, a white BMW, and a possible black Toyota Camry that fled the scene.
The cause and manner of the crash remained unknown at the time of the report.
The driver of the Ford was taken to Sharp Memorial Hospital by Medic 39 with unspecified injuries.
There were no details given about the condition of the other parties involved in the crash.
CHP is investigating the incident.
