San Diego, CA: Deadly Multi-Vehicle Crash on 15 Freeway
1 Killed in San Diego Car Crash on 15 Freeway at Highway 52
San Diego, California (June 25, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a deadly San Diego car crash that happened Thursday afternoon on 15 Freeway under Highway 52.
According to the California Highway Patrol, about four or five vehicles collided at around 4:46 p.m. in the southbound lanes of the freeway for unknown reasons.
Some people at the scene were administering CPR on one victim before firefighters arrived and took over.
CHP said one person was killed in the accident. An occupant of a white 2009 Toyota Corolla was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla by AMR Medic 40 with unknown injuries.
The Corolla, a Honda Accord and a third car were towed away from the scene with crash damage.
CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
