Minor Injuries Sustained in San Diego Car Accident on Highway 56 near Carmel Valley Road
San Diego, California (September 11, 2020) – Authorities said minor injuries were sustained when a vehicle allegedly crossed from the eastbound lanes of Highway 56 into the westbound lanes and crashed into at least one other car in San Diego.
According to a California Highway Patrol report, the crash happened at about 12:18 p.m. on September 10 near Carmel Valley Road.
The report did not mention the cause of the crash.
First responders found the vehicles on the right-hand shoulder and an unspecified number of parties with minor injuries.
An ambulance was requested to the scene to offer medical aid to the victims.
Debris from the crash was scattered in traffic lanes.
CHP is investigating the accident.
