San Diego, California (March 14, 2019) – According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was injured in a car accident that happened in the La Mesa area of downtown San Diego on Thursday morning.
The accident was reported at about 6:21 a.m. on the westbound lanes of Interstate 8 Freeway near 70th Street.
The authorities who responded to the incident recovered a gray Honda Accord and two other vehicles at the scene of the accident.

A pregnant woman in one of the cars is reported to have sustained injuries in the collision. The unidentified woman was transported to a local hospital for treatment in unknown condition.
