Minor Injuries Sustained in San Diego Accident on 5 Freeway and Highway 56

San Diego, California (January 20, 2019) – Minor injuries were sustained after a traffic collision Sunday night in the area of San Diego, according to authorities.
The accident happened at around 7:23 p.m. Sunday, on northbound 5 Freeway and eastbound Highway 56 connector.
Officials reported that two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.
An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. The number of victims and their current condition remained unknown.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes after the collision.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
