San Diego, CA: 1 Seriously Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 15

San Diego, California (May 12, 2021) – One person was severely injured in a motorcycle collision that occurred Tuesday afternoon in San Diego, according to the California Highway Patrol.

At around 4:48 p.m., a motorcycle and a car collided on southbound Interstate 15 near Balboa Avenue.

A Good Samaritan at the crash scene helped to move the rider and the motorcycle to the right-hand shoulder.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help one person who sustained major injuries in the accident.

No other information about the crash was given.

CHP is investigating the incident.
