Pickup Driver Possibly Injured in San Bruno Crash on El Camino Real and Taylor Avenue; Melguis Lemus Arrested

San Bruno, California (March 1, 2019) – One person was possibly injured Tuesday morning in a DUI crash at an intersection in San Bruno, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at around 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, February 26 at the intersection of El Camino Real and Taylor Avenue.
As per the report, Melguis Orlando Lemus, 31, of Hayward, was driving his vehicle when he slammed into the back of a pickup truck at a red light.
The pickup truck driver was evaluated for possible injuries suffered from the crash.
Lemus was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. He was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a suspended license, and operating a vehicle with an ignition interlock device.
According to the report, Lemus was later on released with a notice to appear in court again.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
