3 Motorcyclists Injured in Fontana DUI Crash on Arrow Route near Cottonwood Avenue

San Bernardino County, California (March 11, 2019) – Three motorcyclists were hospitalized after being involved in a crash with a suspected drunk driver on Saturday afternoon near Fontana.
According to the CHP, the wreck happened at about 4:15 p.m. March 9, on Arrow Route near Cottonwood Avenue.
CHP said a gray 2017 Toyota Camry was heading east on Arrow Route when the driver lost control at the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and slammed into the concrete curb on the southeast corner.
The Camry then traveled into the westbound side and collided with three motorcyclists.
The riders were wearing helmets and they were all transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. One victim sustained major injuries, the second suffered moderate injuries while the third victim was hospitalized with minor injuries.
The driver of the Camry was arrested at the scene on suspicion of DUI. He was also hospitalized for minor injuries.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
