7 Injured in San Bernardino County Crash near Sierra Way and Base Line Street

San Bernardino County, California (May 9, 2019) – Seven people were injured in a collision involving an OmniTrans bus on Wednesday evening in San Bernardino County.
The wreck happened at about 5:30 p.m. May 8, near Sierra Way and Base Line Street.
According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the bus was traveling eastbound on Base Line Street when it collided with a car that drifted into its path.
Several Injured in San Bernardino County Bus Crash
One person was extricated from the car and was transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center with critical injuries.
Six people riding on the bus were treated for minor injuries.
The driver of the bus declined medical attention.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
