San Bernardino, California (April 2, 2020) – A male party died following an alleged hit-and-run pedestrian collision that happened in the area of San Bernardino Sunday night, authorities reported.
As per the California Highway Patrol dispatch, the fatal crash took place on March 30, along the 15 Freeway, just south of Glen Helen Parkway.
The man was running in the westbound lanes of the Freeway just before 9:00 p.m. when he was hit by three vehicles of unspecified type.
Multiple Vehicles Struck and Killed Man in San Bernardino
Sadly, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. Pending notification of next of kin, the identity of the deceased remained undisclosed.
Meanwhile, the first motorist who struck the man fled the scene before the authorities arrived. Police affirmed the other two involved drivers remained at the crash site and cooperated with the investigation.
