61-Year-Old San Bernardino Woman Killed in San Bernardino Car Crash Sunday morning on E. Highland Avenue near Valencia Avenue

San Bernardino, California (March 3, 2019) – A 61-year-old woman was killed early Sunday morning in a traffic crash in San Bernardino, according to a local news source.
At around 12:54 a.m., police officers received a report regarding a rear-end crash on E. Highland Avenue, just east of Valencia Avenue.
When the officers arrived at the scene, they found the 61-year-old woman who was injured in the driver seat of one of the involved vehicles. She was taken to the St. Bernadine Medical Center emergency room, where she succumbed to his injuries at 1:30 a.m. Her name has not been released pending identification and notification of next of kin.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
