Pedestrian Killed in San Bernardino Crash on 215 Freeway near 9th Street
San Bernardino, California (March 8, 2019) – One person was hit and killed by a vehicle in San Bernardino early Wednesday morning, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.
The fatal crash, which happened just before 3:12 a.m. March 6, occurred on the Interstate 215 Freeway near 9th Street.
As per the report, the collision occurred when a pedestrian, whose identity was unknown, was hit by a vehicle in the southbound side of the interstate.
The victim sustained life-threatening injuries and was attended to by paramedics who arrived shortly after the accident. The victim was pronounced dead a few minutes later.
Meanwhile, no other details concerning the accident were released but an investigation is ongoing.
