San Bernardino, CA: CHP Investigating Major Injury Motorcycle Collision on Highway 18

San Bernardino, California (July 13, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a major injury motorcycle accident that happened Monday morning in San Bernardino.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at around 11:46 a.m. on northbound Highway 18, just south of Highway 138.

A motorcycle collided with a Chevrolet Malibu for unknown reasons.

First responders found the rider down on the shoulder and the motorcycle blocking traffic lanes.

Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to find one person with severe injuries.

Both the motorcycle and the car were towed away from the scene.

CHP will determine the cause of the crash when they conclude their investigation.
