Man Killed in San Bernardino Pedestrian Crash on Kendall Drive near Palm Avenue
San Bernardino, California (April 17, 2019) – A 50-year-old man, a resident of San Bernardino, was struck and killed by a vehicle early Monday morning in San Bernardino, according to a police report.
The crash was reported at about 2:30 a.m. April 15, on Kendall Drive near Palm Avenue.
Police said the man was wearing dark clothing and crossing Kendall Drive on foot when a gray Jeep Cherokee struck him. The driver, a 19-year-old woman, saw the man late on her approach and attempted to avoid him, but unfortunately hit the man.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the man was not released pending notification of the next of kin.
The driver stayed at the scene of the crash and cooperated with authorities.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not factors contributing to the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
