Perris, California (July 25, 2020) – Samuel Rodriguez, 2, of Nuevo, has been identified as the child who was hit and killed by a car on Friday night in Nuevo, Perris, authorities said.
The deadly crash transpired at about 8:30 p.m., on July 24, in the 28138 block of Lakeview Avenue near Nuevo Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Rodriguez was struck by a vehicle on the roadway. Details of what led up to the collision were not immediately available.
