Salome Godinez ID’d as Man Killed in Fairfield Pedestrian Accident on Abernathy Road near Andrews Lane
Fairfield, California (March 16, 2021) – The Solano County Coroner’s Office has released the identity of the pedestrian who was struck and killed by a suspected hit-and-run driver Saturday morning in Fairfield.
Salome Godinez, 60, of Fairfield, died in the accident that happened at around 9:45 a.m. Saturday, March 13, in the 4400 block of Abernathy Road, just north of Andrews Lane.
A vehicle reportedly hit Godinez and left the scene.
Godinez was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
Further details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to call the California Highway Patrol Solano office at 428-2100.
