Woman, 6-Year-Old Girl Hurt in Toro Park Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 68

Salinas, California (April 20, 2019) – A woman and a girl were hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon near Toro Park, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened at about 4 p.m. April 19, on Highway 68.
CHP said a Dodge Magnum was traveling eastbound on the highway when it attempted to make a turn into Toro Park and collided with a westbound Chevrolet Malibu.
The impact caused the Malibu to spin and it struck a Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado was pushed uphill and it crashed into a light pole.
Woman and Girl Injured in Toro Park Car Crash
CHP said a woman was transported to Natividad while the 6-year-old girl was flown to San Jose Regional Hospital. Both victims had minor injuries.
The cause of the collision is under investigation by the CHP.
