Tuolumne County, California (July 29, 2020) – Sadi Tucker, 18, of Atwater, has been identified as one of three parties who were injured in a two-car accident on Tuesday night in Tuolumne County, authorities said.

The major injury accident occurred, at the intersection of Tulloch Road and Highway 108, at about 7:45 p.m., on July 28.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2017 Audi A4 sedan, driven by Tucker, pulled onto Highway 108 from a stop at the Tulloch Road junction, the CHP said.

The Audi crossed the westbound lanes of Highway 108 and went directly into the pathway of a westbound 2010 Subaru Forester, driven by a 66-year-old man from Saratoga.

The Subaru reportedly crashed into the driver’s side of the Audi.

Sadi Tucker Hurt in Traffic Accident at Tulloch Road and Highway 108 in Tuolumne County

Helen Vermillion, 68, of Saratoga was hospitalized with major injuries in the accident. Vermillion was a passenger in the Subaru.

The 66-year-old Saratoga man sustained severe injuries in the crash and was flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Tucker sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.

The crash remains under investigation.
