Person Hospitalized after Sacramento County Train Crash near Arden Way and Del Paso Boulevard
Sacramento County, California (January 10, 2020) – A pedestrian was hospitalized after being hit and pinned by a train on Thursday evening in Sacramento County, the Sacramento fire reported.
The incident occurred around 6:13 p.m. January 9, near Arden Way and Del Paso Boulevard.
Authorities said a person was hit by a light-rail train. The Sacramento Fire Department crews extricated the victim, who was pinned under the train.
Pedestrian Injured in Sacramento County Train Crash
The victim was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition.
No other injuries were reported from the incident.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is underway.
