Woman Injured in Sacramento Truck Accident on Capital City Freeway (State Route 51) near Marconi Avenue
Sacramento, California (January 25, 2019) – A woman was injured in traffic accident in Sacramento Friday morning, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The wreck happened at around 10:04 a.m. on Capital City Freeway near Marconi Avenue. Capital City Freeway is also known as State Route 51.
The vehicles involved were described as a white Cadillac sedan, a garbage truck and a gray Jeep. The Cadillac reportedly slammed into a wall after the impact.
Paramedics responded to the scene and rendered aid to the woman who was injured as a result of the accident. It was immediately unclear if she was treated at the scene or was transported to a hospital for further treatment.
No other injuries were reported.
The crash remains under investigation by police.
